Let's start with some basic patterns. As we know, all knitted fabrics are made using two basic stitches, knit and purl.
Different sizes of socks can be made in the sock-knitting machine. Although the mechanics are different from casting on, there is a similar variety of methods. The number of rows should be counted when the carrier goes around the cylinder, while knitting.
Although knitting may be done with ribbons, metal wire and more exotic filaments, most yarns are made by spinning fibers. Cable patterns are made by permuting the order of stitches; although one or two stitches may be held by hand or knit out of order, cables of three or more generally require a cable needle. These ideas come for each person different, depending on there nature, but all these designs will surely turn into memorable creation.
But, that's the essence of knitting. Be sure to try using other available resources, such as local craft and hobby stores.
