Let's start with some basic patterns. Let me start by introducing you to the five stitch types that I believe are at the very heart of knitting!

These fiber types are chemically different, corresponding to proteins, carbohydrates and synthetic polymers, respectively. Circular knitting needles in three different lengths and sizes. The thread used in weaving is usually much finer than the yarn used in knitting, which can make the knitted fabric bulkier and have less drape than a woven fabric.

The baby blanket pattern is highly customizable in both size and design. In turn, the red loops secure the white loops just below them, which in turn secure the loops below them, and so on. For an easy or beginner level there are usually easy patterns, like different types of scarf or shawls or even some sweaters with easy knitting patterns.
